Last week, we hosted a surgical course of the Johnson&Johnson Institute called Scenario Planning in Abdominal Surgery (photos on our facebook). The program's highlight was managing complications in laparoscopic abdominal surgery as well as a demonstration of stapling techniques – things that we don't do at the Summer School. Nevertheless, you need to walk before you can run, so that's why we are looking forward to teaching you the basics of surgery at the Summer School, starting next week!
