Josef Hlávka Foundation Award for employees of our laboratory
Based on the proposal of the rectors of Czech universities, the Josef, Marie and Zdeněk Hlávka Foundation awards talented university students every year. This is a prestigious award, the award ceremony is associated with the celebration of the holiday of November 17th. For the Faculty of Medicine in Pilsen, MUDr. Jáchym Rosendorf, Ph.D., a recent graduate of doctoral studies in Surgery, was awarded this prize for exceptional study results. In his study work, he focused on the development and application of nanofibrous materials for healing support in digestive tract surgery. This is a topic that he continues to address also after the graduation. Last year, the award was given to MUDr. Richard Pálek, Ph.D., also from our laboratory, but the award ceremony did not take place until this year due to the coronavirus pandemic. We congratulate both recent graduates and wish them many more successes.
