After processing the experience of this year's Summer School and catching our breaths, we concluded that it was a success. And we would like to thank everyone who made it possible by participating or contributing to this year's SSES.

Each year, distinguished guest lecturers add considerable value to the Summer School. This year, the programme welcomed Professor Pierre-Alain Clavien, Professor Inge Herrmann and Dr Alexandre Anthis from Switzerland, Professor Uta Dahmen and Dr Mohamed Albadry from Germany, Professor Lieven Thorrez from Belgium, and Professor Ondřej Slabý from the Czech Republic. Their lectures provided the participants with up-to-date perspectives on modern surgery, development of advanced biomaterials, transplantation medicine, tissue engineering, and precision oncology. We are deeply grateful to all our guest lecturers for their continued support, their willingness to share their expertise and the commitment they have shown to the Summer School. We greatly value their involvement and look forward to continuing and further developing our collaboration in the years to come.
